Jul 08, 2022 - I consider that they have ridiculous prices. The Coco Whip for example you can find it at Walmart at half of price. The Daiya Frozen Pizza is not less than $10 at the Public Market. It was one year ago. The same pizza cost less than $7 at Walmart. Even at Kroger is cheaper. The produce is far from being fresh and it is also sold at exorbitant price. I bought potatoes couple of times, each and every time half of them gone to garbage. As I am dependable on SNAP benefits, I used to be a permanent customer for two, three months while they were offering 50% off all merchandise. Even so, it was expensive. And one day, the daughter of the owner was very disrespectful and rude to me. She asked me to pay the full price for what I purchased, just after she told me 5 minutes earlier that it is still 50% off for me, as I wanted to pay with the SNAP card. She was all a smile while parroting quickly some words memorated, about what can still buy the SNAP card with 50% off. I understood nothing, because she didn't want me to understand what she says. They are very fake and disrespectful. As a result, not even today, after almost one year, they don't specify on their website what merchandise the SNAP cardholders can buy. Probably, is after they mood in that day. As I am a vegan, I am not interested in buying nothing here anymore at double price of what you get in the supermarkets. Also, they don't have any good sanitation, there was a terrible stench coming from the kitchen couple of times, and I remember that I asked myself how people can eat in their restaurant.
