May 29, 2023 - You have a few vendors selling specialty items"very expensive*but that may be the case anywhere that you go. I personally go there for the produce but have been very very disappointed! The same produce has been at other markets before coming to Dr Phillips and you can definitely tell in most cases because things are wilted, brown on top and tomatoes over ripe. Prices are also out of line and especially when the fruit and vegetables look like they're on their last leg. It seems like we are getting the leftovers that we're not sold elsewhere. If you were at least selling at a reasonable price it wouldn't be quite so bad. In some cases I have seen the prices higher in the Dr Phillips area then they were in Winter garden and have been told this by other people walking around and walking away from the fruits and vegetables as I did. You claim that you are going to try to increase the area to make it larger and get more vendors. I believe most people would want the opportunity to pick up fruits and vegetables more so than anything else, but this is not happening because as I was standing there after looking at what you had this past week May 28, 10:30 a.m. I saw most of the people turn around and walk away. I also did the same thing because again, produce looked dried out, overripe, soft to the touch as in like cucumbers, and limited quite honestly. It's almost like you're using Dr Phillips as the last resort to get rid of what you have left. I may sound like a complainer, but I'm telling you as a customer the truth in my view and what I see and hear from others. If you go to a brand new restaurant you don't expect it to be perfect the first couple of times but after giving them many chances and being told we need more time to get it together, we just stop going. Don't expect to pay high prices when you have a store just down the street selling cheaper produce. You have had enough time to get your act together and apparently it's not going to happen. Hopefully I'm wrong, but time will tell. Please don't take my comment personally, but that's the way it is.
