Millerton Farmers Market

Dec 19, 2025 - I try not to miss the Saturday market. Some of the vendors have become friends. A recently arrived French pastry chef is now my first stop. He makes fruit tartes - apple at the moment - and the best raspberry jam. The tarte pastry is thin and contains nothing but apples thinly sliced in the shape of a demi-lune. Elsewhere are some of the best breads you will find anywhere. Another vendor bakes cakes, tartes, cookies. The ginger cookies I take to my wife. When the growing season returns, look for berries, peaches, etc, and garden vegetables for soups and to accompany your main courses. everything sold here is locally grown organically. Make a stop here every Saturday.
